God ---Awesomely Mine

After my walk for the day I like to have a cup of coffee and get ready to go to bible school which I enjoy the most “teaching the word of God”.

I felt many times uneasiness in my body and I suffered sleepless nights, but that for a drastic change in my body I never knew it, slowly I recognized that I am forgetting things in my daily routine, slowly I ended up forget the way in which is very familiar to me and lost the way to home which made all my family members into terror. My speech was in confusion and without connections and which made the situation very panic.

I was stopped going out and stayed at home, then it was suggested that I should be taken to a Neurologist, and they were not able to figure out I had to undergo MRI scan 

Scan shows a 4mm growth in the middle of the brain. Later, they were able found out that it is the re-occurrence of the earlier, lymphoma cancer. My condition became very critical each moment, I became unstable to keep a step ahead and walk and I was taken to Dr Smita Gupte , for the treatment, she asked to undergo Ventricular shunt operation. She said if it is not done immediately the patient will lose his life within half an hour. Aleyamma, my wife and Sabu Appachan, my elder son in law said what you can do by medicine kindly do and also we are praying to God, let God help him  we can do want operation. 

I was not even in my sense to pray for myself but my family, local pastors (God’s army) they kept praying for me whole night in the hospital. Early morning I felt great change in my body I was able to get up and sing songs and worship the lord. It was a wonder for my wife and my Sabu, they were shocked, when doctor came for the rounds my room she was surprised to see me sitting and smiling at her, God is great , she said before she greet me with a time wish. 

I am grateful Almighty God for the extended life given to me to survive some more time to serve him. All the saints, who gathered at hospital when I was not well and the immense faith they were able practice, on my situation and prayed in one accord. When I was taken for second time MRI, they could not find the growth.

On 10th July I was discharged him by just giving one injection of chemo, I received the good news that I am blessed with a new granddaughter.

My God is an awesome God, He reigns on the heaven and earth.  

In my young days, I was mostly interested in studying the bible and this interest is what I am today, most of the time I am ready to teach bible. Learning Hindi was a challenge when I first came to north India, but somehow I was interested learning the language and I ended up write few books for the Hindi speaking bible college students and church.

The books I wrote are:

1 Study of Revelation–Vol I

2 Study of Revelation- Vol II

3 Study of Daniel

In the year 1882, I started to teach God’s word in bible colleges, since then I have been teaching in many bible colleges. I teach many subjects but out of all of them I was interested in prophetical subjects, almost 15 years I spent in teaching and explaining prophetical books like Daniel and Revelation, students from Hindi speaking state were also expressed their to have a written material for refereeing for their help in study and ministry. The efforts towards it have helped me to write down some of them, although financial struggle always has been there but God was faithful.

The book of Daniel states about the prophetical clock and knowledge of eternal ages. The political instability and God’s plans for eternal ages, the resurrection of sinners and righteous, judgment and eternal life etc are also discussed in this book with the reference from bible. It was my deep desire to study of Daniel before study of revelation; I started towards the work of write and the manuscript was ready within few months, while preparing the manuscript I was also involved in teaching the bible colleges, mission trips in land and speaking radio in a program called Ametik yatra. Financial struggles has always been with us but I faced all the challenges finally I was able to see my published books. I also deeply believe everything is happens in God’s appointed time.
